It is a point that is hard to dispute: Coaching athletes at all levels of the athletic continuum has become a tremendously challenging experience. Stories of crisis, chaos, confusion and conflict are more of the norm than we even dare to consider. While we can easily identify and even categorize most of these issues, it is essential that we can also identify and implement a plan of education and support for these coaches who are far too often viewed as: “Being on an island”.

 

As an advocate for coaches and mentoring them to "Standards of Excellence", we will assist these leaders in examining such areas as:
